|  | | Gin Siow Vice President Gin Siow was born in Johore southern part of Malaysia and graduated from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.He immigrated to Canada in 1982 with his first job in Toronto as a product specialist with a Chrysler Dealership because of his passion for car rally.His dedication and hard work has earned him from product specialist to sales manager,general sales manager and finally as a general manager of an imported dealership.Having seven years of experience finally he decided to open his first pre-owned dealer in !989 and he has a total of three locations during his peak time.
Fall of 1999 he decided to joint venture with another partner and bought an exiting Mazda dealership in Markham which he named it Markham Mazda,his wealth of experience in the automobile industry has allowed him to build a strong team and focused on customer service satisfaction with a slogan of "Hassle Free Dealership".
Gin has a vision with his dedication and superb management skills,this has allowed the dealership to achieve an outstanding results of three folds in 2001 and quadruple the business in 2002.
Spring 2002 Gin Siow won an outstanding award from Association Of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur (ACCE),after having won such a prestigious award and his business growth he has decided to broaden his knowledge by committed to one year project of an on and off site training in general dealership management program to increase effectiveness in the field of automobile dealership management with National Automobile Dealership Association (NADA) in Washington DC.He was the only proud Asian out of 24 students to graduate in Nov 2003.
Gin incorporated best pratices in customer service and build his foundation base on customer satisfaction,with this dedication his dealership was awarded as the best Imported Dealer in Markham by Markham Economist Readers Choice Award in 2004.
In 2006 he has won another High Quality Award from Chinese Business Chamber of Canada (CBCC) for his tremendous contributions to the economic social life of the Chinese business communities in the province,he has been very active in the community ever since the inception of Markham Mazda with a wall full of appreciation plaques from the long list of sponsorships.
May 2009 Canadian Multicultural Council Asians in Ontario presented Gin an award as the Outstanding Asian Canadian in recognition of exemplary contribution to the Canadian Community.
Gin Siow is the founder of Malaysian Association of Canada in 2001, currently he is also Vice President of Association Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur, Vice President of Richmond Hill and Markham Chinese Association and President of SEAS Centre (Support Enhance Access Services).SEAS is a not for profit social services agency mandated to promote individual well-being, enhance family harmony, prevent domestic violence, crisis intervention, family life and parenting education, supportive counselling for new immigrations integration and adaption to their new country with three offices across GTA..The slogan is SEAS and You.....For A Better Tomorrow.
