Director Gina Li is the Director of Asian Markets of Multicultural Banking at Scotiabank. Gina has a wealth of experience, having worked in numerous countries including China, Australia and Canada for the past18 years. Her skills extend not only to Marketing, Sales and Operations but also to General Management. As well, prior to her current Director position within Scotiabank, Gina garnered substantial recognition in the Canadian financial industry, building knowledge and expertise in Commercial Banking, Wealth Management and Retail Branch Management. Gina immigrated to Canada in 1999 and is fluent in Mandarin. She is an alumnus of Rotman School of Management and was on the Dean’s List when she graduated with Honours from the MBA Program in 2004. As an immigrant herself, Gina understands the many challenges newcomers face when they start their new life. Therefore, she is passionate about helping other immigrants, especially in the area of communication. She is the founder of two Toastmasters Clubs and has volunteered to mentor new immigrants through TRIEC and other community organizations. Gina was recently recognized by Fairchild TV with the “2009 Outstanding Profile Award-Professional Sector” Mandarin Profile Award. |
