Director Alex Li graduated from Peking University in Beijing, China with a Master Degree in Computer Science. Currently Alex Li is the CEO of KijiSoft Inc. who specializes in IT and software outsourcing and services. KijiSoft is helping many Canadian companies to cut IT cost and access to the China market, as well as helping many Chinese companies to do business in the North America. Alex starts his career as a software engineer with Founder Group (China's largest software company) in 1990. Since then he has developed his career within Founder Group in several different roles including Project Manager, Software Development Manager, Software Specialist, Chief Technical Officer, etc. Alex continued to serve for Founder Group after he immigrated to Canada with his family in 1997. He set up the North America branch of Founder Group in Toronto in 2001 and became the CEO of Founder North America until 2008. Alex is also one of the top table tennis players in Canada. He created a table tennis forum website MyTableTennis.NET in 2003. Now it has more than 20,000 registered members from several countries. MyTableTennis.NET has become one of the largest table tennis forum websites in the world and one of the largest table tennis suppliers in North America. In addition, Alex is also a founding member and director of the Markham-based Canadian Chinese Table Tennis Association - the largest table tennis club in Canada with over 600 members, offering 35 tables in a 16,000 square foot space. As an active member in the community, Alex is also a director of the Richmond Hill and Markham Chinese Business Association, a director of the York Technology Association, and a director of the Canadian Chinese Table Tennis Federation based in Vancouver, BC. He enjoys meeting new people and exploring new business opportunities. |
